Marron's Apple Crisp "Crispy". His mom was a Somali named Hot Cider. One day she escaped out the side door as we came in, she was in heat. I found her a few minutes later. Sixty-six days later she had three of the most stunning kittens I have ever seen. All were boys and all had four white feet. I kept one. Crisp had a long, downy coat that never matted and always looked just-groomed. You could not even feel it - that is how fine and downy it was, and your hand would disappear into it's length. I showed him as a HHP. The best part was watching the face of a judge who had never handled him.

Bliss is a good word to describe the look as their hands sunk into that magnificent coat. Crispy and Sunny were almost always wrapped up with each other, I have few photos of them apart. He was always taking care of the other cats and kittens, and the dog. And me.
